Abnormal sleep patterns may raise heart risks, study says...

A lack of sleep and abnormal sleep cycles may increase a person's risk of heart disease, especially for those who work rotating shifts, according to a small study in the journal Hypertension. Researchers said abnormal sleep patterns may result in a higher heart rate during the day and increases in levels of the stress hormone norepinephrine.
